The Bödele is not only fantastic for family-friendly skiing, it’s also a great place for tobogganing. Both advanced winter-sports enthusiasts and families with children will really enjoy it here.
There’s a tobogganing hill for children directly on the Bödele, where the skiing area starts.
The toboggan run for grown-ups is located at the foot of the Bödele in Dornbirn. The ascent is from Langwies, below Ammenegg. Many tour hikers also set off from here. A narrow path leads through wooded areas and ends at Lake Bödele – a pure idyll, especially when it’s just snowed.
The route takes visitors from the Bödele past the Berghof Fetz farm towards the chapel and from there downhill to the right – briefly uphill again to the left – and here we go. The lower section is curvy and steep. The bus link between Ammenegg and Bödele is good – for those who prefer to take the bus instead of walking themselves.
